I dag hørte vi plutselig høy romling og det ble kraftig risting i huset her i et øyeblikk. Det var et jordskjelv som ble registrert til 4, 4, men nedjustert til 3,6 etterpå tror jeg. Ikke noen hyggelig opplevelse, men det ble ingen skader her.
"Ut av vinduet bilde" av en fugl som jeg aldri har sett her, og den kom et minutt etter jordskjelvet. Tegn i tiden... 😉
Den heter stær, Sturnus vulgaris. Den er en trekkfugl, og det var jo hyggelig at den ville komme på besøk i dag.
Earthquakes are scary! It was strong! There are a lot of small earthquakes here, due to the soil. There was an earthquake near here a few months ago. They are not nice. The common starling (Sturnus vulgaris) is a beautifully colored bird. I have seen a lot of them here. It is winter here again!

I knew that you were an earth-shattering kind of woman, Marit, but who knew you could actually cause the Earth to shake! As for Sturnus vulgaris, it is abundant here and over much of Europe, too. I suspect it may be expanding its range and soon it will be common where you live. Hugs and kisses - David

SlettThe starling is common in many milderec sites here too, but not here. Yes, it will probably become more common here as the climate gets warmer.
