Jeg vil starte dette innlegget med å takke for alle hyggelige og oppmuntrende kommentarer! Blogging er noe som gir meg veldig mye, og jeg fikk laget et lite innlegg i går kveld likevel. Bloggingen er jo noe jeg trives godt med. Det er bare omstendighetene nå som tapper meg for energi.
Været har vært så kjølig i det siste, at jeg har bare holdt på i drivhuset og har ellers vært inne foran vedovnen. Hagen får leve sitt eget liv enn så lenge.
Den nye fuglemateren fungerer også som "vanlig" for ekorn / Sciurus vulgaris. Den var veldig sulten i det kalde været, og da smakte det med mat så det ut som.
Grønnfink/ Chloris chloris. Den er en vakker trekkfugl som jeg bare ser her en kort tid før den flyr videre.
Dompapene/ Pyrrhula pyrrhula er fortsatt her hver dag. I går så jeg fire stykker, og de er veldig sultne de også. Å sitte midt i matfatet er åpenbart helt ok.
Kattene mine har fått seg en ny venn. Det ligner på en hunnkatt for den er ikke så stor. Den går rundt og mjauer, og jeg har aldri sett den tidligere. Kanskje den har gått seg bort, men det jeg vet ikke. Den sitter på verandaen og kikker på kattene mine som er inne :)
Felix har funnet seg sitt favorittsted, nemlig rett ved siden av ovnen. Katter elsker varme!
Jeg fikk besøk av Stillits/ Carduelis carduelis i går. De kom mye tidligere i fjor. Kanskje det er fordi det er så kaldt her nå. I morgen er det meldt om sludd igjen :(
Jeg har byttet til sommerdekk på bilen, og i morgen må jeg opp til sykehuset igjen. Det føles litt skummelt å gjøre det, men jeg må bare kjøre veldig forsiktig. Jeg trodde vinteren var over nå, men der tok jeg feil :(
Jeg tar med et bilde fra 11. april i fjor. Da blomstret hvitveisen/ Anemone nemorosa. Den har jeg ennå ikke sett noe til i år. Våren startet så tidlig i år, men det kalde været har satt en stopper for fremgangen i hagen. Fra onsdag i neste uke er det meldt om varmere vær, og jeg håper på det.

SvarSlettMen jag förstår också att allt är jobbigt nu med allt som händer med din mor. Jag hoppas så innerligt att det kommer att gå bra med hennes ben. Fortsätter att tänka på er.
Hoppas den lilla katten hittar hem dit där den hör hemma. Men jag förstår att den är intresserad av dina katter där innanför fönstret. Du har haft många fina fågelbesök också. Steglits är en så vacker fågel precis som domherren. Grönfinken ser inte vi heller så ofta men den är så fin med sin kraftfulla näbb.
Här har jag sett att vitsipporna börjar blomma så smått men inte så mycket ännu då nätterna är kalla. Tänk så fint det blir när vi kan njuta av vita mattor.
Kör nu försiktigt imorgon när du ska till sjukhuset.

Tusen takk! Ja, det er så slitsomt, men jeg snakket med sykehuset akkurat nå, og ortopeden var fornøyd med utviklingen. Så det er i hverfall gode nyheter i dag.
Jeg har ikke sett katten de siste dagene, så jeg håper at den har funnet veien hjem. Ja, det er så mange forskjellige fugler her nå, og de kommer jo på grunn av maten. Nå nettopp talte jeg 20 grønnsisik (Spinus spinus) som var her og spiste. Det er jo så kjølig ute, og det finnes ingen insekter enda. Så de behøver mye mat. Ja, grønnfinken er veldig fin.
Så fint at de har begynt å blomstre hos deg. Ja, snart er skogen dekket av de.
Jeg skal kjøre veldig forsiktig ja.

SvarSlettThe weather has been very interesting, and the wood stove as well as the baking oven are both lovely, and it is nice to be in the warmth of the greenhouse. We also have one squirrel that comes by to eat from time to time; no more have been seen. The greenfinch is a very beautiful bird - I haven't seen it yet this spring. A beautiful cat comes to visit your cats. Cats love warmth. That goldfinch (carduelis carduelis) is a magnificent bird, looking very exotic; I haven't seen it this spring either, but probably soon. Those wood anemones are lovely; ours are still in bud. My husband is just changing the winter tires, and I hope there won't be any more frost or snow - I wish the same for you, that your drive will be safe when you go to visit your mother. I wish you all the best and you are in my thoughts, stay strong!

SlettYes, the weather is changing all the time. Yes, the wood stove is very good to have, and I use it right now. It's only 4 degrees here.
It's nice to see the squirrel every day. Yes, the Greenfinch is very beautiful. It's sad that it hasn't visited you this spring. Yes, the Goldfinch looks very exotic. It looks almost like a parrot.
The woodanemones is very pretty, and I long to see them.
The winter must end very soon! Yes, I will drive very carefully tomorrow.

SvarSlettFirst of all I want you to know how sorry I am to learn that your mother is in hospital. I have missed a few of your posts and others, so that I could rest my wrist and knee through doing too much pruning in my garden, which is overgrown but looking very beautiful at this time of the year. We have had a few light showers but warmth from the sun, and everything is in full bloom. I understand that your priority is your mother right now, and I hope she gets well soon. I love all your photos of the many lovely birds that visit your feeders. Only the Greenfinch vists mine, but I wish I could see the Bullfinch and Goldfinch the very pretty coloured ones, but the squirre we can both enjoy. Your new peach tree sounds interesting and it will be nice to see some photos of the little dawf when it blooms. Nice photo of Felix looking out the window. I hope the stray cat gets a forever home or someone claims it, as it's too cold for it to sleep outside

SlettI understand very well that you have missed some of my post lately. My mother is 89 years old, and she was hit by a bus. The bus ran over her foot, and she has had 5 surgeries since. The wound has not healed, and it was critical for her leg. Today I spoke to the hospital and the orthopedist was happy with the progress.
You need to pay attention to your health, and not work so much in the garden, dear friend. I know it is hard not to.
Thank you very much. Yes, I would like you to see both the bullfinch and the goldfinch. They are here every day and so is the squirrel. Yes, we can enjoy both of them. I am not entirely sure if the peach tree will bloom this year, but I will find out.
I have not seen that cat again, so I hope it has found its way home. Many warm hugs to you too!

Hi, Marit: I, too, changed back to summer tyres this week. So far we have only had rain so it has been okay and today is actually going to be dry. More rain is on the way, however. It’s great to see the birds in your yard, and to know that they are getting a boost on the way to their nesting grounds. I hope your mom is doing well and that she will soon be home again. SlettYes, maybe we have been too optimistic about winter. Unfortunately, it is not completely over here yet. We have also had rain here today. Yes, the birds are stopping by to get food here before they fly on. I just saw a lot of Spinus spinus, and they are also migratory birds here.
Thank you very much. I am not sure if she will come home again because of the injuries to her foot that will not heal. We will just have to see how things go.

Your hungry squirrel is adorable, but not as lovely as your cool Felix collecting some warmth. I am so sorry about what your mother and you are going through. .All my love to you both.
